Start using PromptDC on Desktop, Chrome, and IDEs

PromptDC Desktop for macOS and Windows is the flagship experience: one install works everywhere. Select text in any desktop app, every browser on every website (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox), Mail, Slack, Notion, Word, Outlook, Teams, Discord, Notes, AI desktop apps (ChatGPT, Claude, Grok), IDE chat panels (Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Antigravity, Trae, Kiro), and terminal CLIs (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Grok, Agy, OpenCode). Press Cmd+Shift+E (macOS) or Ctrl+Shift+E (Windows), review in the popover, and Replace or Copy.

PromptDC is the first desktop app to enhance prompts inside terminal CLIs. Pick a per-app default profile (such as Code for Cursor and terminals, or Email for Mail). You can also add the Chrome extension for in-place web field rewriting, or optional IDE extensions for Cursor, VS Code, and Windsurf.

PromptDC is profile-driven. Ten built-in profiles cover everyday writing (Grammar, Email, Reply, Social, Summarize, Explain, Professional, Concise) and visual ideas (Image Prompt). The Code profile turns vague coding requests into implementation-ready prompts for AI coding tools and terminal CLIs.

The product model in one minute

Desktop works everywhere

One desktop install for macOS and Windows covers every app, browser, IDE chat panel, and terminal CLI (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Grok) with per-app default profiles.

Profiles and Actions are flexible

Ten built-in profiles plus custom profiles supply reusable instructions. An Action applies a temporary instruction to one enhancement without altering your active profile.

Chrome and IDEs add convenience

The Chrome extension provides in-place rewriting on web fields with no Accessibility permissions needed. IDE extensions add target-agent pickers for editor chat panels.
