Step 1
Install the macOS or Windows desktop app for every app, browser, IDE, and terminal. One setup covers every textarea, coding app, desktop app, and terminal.
Step 2
Use it in ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Cursor, VS Code, Mail, Slack, every browser, or terminal CLIs such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Grok, Agy, and OpenCode.
Step 3
No export needed. Any prompt you optimized in PromptPerfect works as an input. Paste it in and click enhance to rewrite it in place.
Step 4
Choose from ten built-in profiles, create custom profiles, use Actions, and set a default profile for each desktop app. Optionally add Chrome for per-website defaults or an IDE extension for Simple or Structured output and a target-agent picker.
One macOS or Windows desktop install rewrites selected text in any app, every browser, IDE chat panel, and terminal.
Writing profiles and the Code profile do PromptPerfect's core rewrite job without a separate optimizer, with a default profile for each desktop app.
The optional Chrome extension adds in-place web rewriting and per-website default profiles without Accessibility permission.
Optional IDE extensions add Simple or Structured output and a target-agent picker; terminal enhancement covers Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Grok, Agy, and OpenCode.
A compact summary for buyers, reviewers, and answer engines.
